SUMMARY:SBA X FITPIX HEADSHOT EVENT
DESCRIPTION:Limited Spots! Secure yours today. The SBA has partnered up with FitPix Photography to bring local business owners an amazing opportunity to invest in themselves – with some new headshots! \nMandy and Rob Hambly\, owners of FitPix\, met working on cruise ships in Hawaii as photographers before digital photography changed the profession abruptly. They spent seven years living outside NYC working as photographers until their daughter Lucy was born. The family of three relocated for a final time to Stittsville where they bought their first (and last!) house soon after their son Jack was born. These long time nomads built a dream home photo studio to avoid photography gigs in the always changing weather of Ottawa. They focus on studio portraits (including school photos\, grad photos and headshots by Mandy) as well as video editing\, droneography and PhotoShop by Rob. \nTimeslots are 45 minutes\, but the shoot itself takes 30-40 minutes. Your investment includes 10-30 photos. \nPricing:\n· $175 for non-members\n· $150 for SBA members\n· $200 for a 2-person session \nSecure your timeslot here

SUMMARY:Welcome to Stittsville Multicultural Festival
DESCRIPTION:It is that time of the year already! \nCouncillor Glen Gower’s office is planning the third edition of the very successful Welcome to Stittsville Multicultural Festival. \nThis year’s event will be held on June 15 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Village Square Park\, and we are looking for participants who wish to share the beauty of multiculturalism with our community! \nThe main goal of this initiative is to showcase our diverse community\, promote new connections with residents\, and welcome new immigrants. More than 800 people attended the event last year\, and we are looking forward to welcoming even more this year! \nThis year’s set-up is similar\, with tables reserved for multicultural groups\, city services\, immigrant services and community organizations. For this year’s event\, we are adding a vendor option\, which means we will have a space for people who meet the criteria to promote or sell their products and services. \nContact us for more information on how you can participate\, whether it’s reserving a table to showcase your culture\, performing on our live stage\, or promoting your business. Call 613-580-2476 or email glen.gower@ottawa.ca.
